History - a chronology of our success

In 1983 the corner stone for our company was laid by two employees in Leinfeld Echterdingen and the company moved into its first operating premises. The relocation to Steinbronn followed 7 years later. Meanwhile our staff has grown to 25 employees.

In 1999 we moved our company location to Mulfingen – Zaisenhausen.  The idea of combining our domicile with the location of the company was very appealing, on the other hand, the company headquarters in Steinenbronn turned out to be too cost-intensive. In 2005 the first ISO-certification took place, another milestone was reached with the establishment of our subsidiary company EP Instruments with an in-house DKD laboratory in midyear 2006. At the same time, this year represented an outstanding business year for Ehrler Prüftechnik with a turnover of € 2.8 m.

Another relocation is coming up at the beginning of the coming year. This time we are moving to Niederstetten for logistics purposes. The fact of running only one building where everything is located has many advances: distances between workplaces are much shorter than they used to be and that in turn simplifies our logistics. At the same time we get the opportunity to arrange multiple test benches in parallel. That gives us further expansion options for the future.
We are vigorously awaiting spring 2008, when after 3 years we will receive the recertification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. We are also looking forward to the 25th anniversary of our company Ehler Prüftechnik, which we largely owe to the loyalty and support of our customers.
