The development of the double-piston system, for instance, was carried out in close cooperation with the Physikalisch Technischen Bundesanstalt in Braunschweig (PTB). This measuring system is applied there as a standard. A patent application for the double-piston system by Ehrler Prüftechnik has been filed at the European Patent Office.

Outsourcing is not an issue for us yet, for our complete service portfolio is performed within the premises of Ehrler Prüftechnik and we therefore can provide our customers with one-stop services.

Moreover, Ehrler Prüftechnik is actively contributing to the reduction of environmental pollution by car traffic. One example for this is the air flow meter (HFM), which by precisely measuring the air mass currently sucked in by the combustion engine calculates the exact amount of fuel and the optimal ignition timing in the engine control system.
