The measure of all things
EP – Ehrler Prüftechnik Engineering is Germany's leading provider of measurement and test engineering
In our subsidiary EP Instruments, which was founded in 2006, we operate a calibration laboratory for the most varied types of measurement instruments. Our laboratory is certified by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt PTB (German Metrology Institute) in Braunschweig and Berlin (DKD-K-47201) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Moreover, this laboratory is considered the most accurate DKD laboratory in Germany for volume and mass flow as well as volume and mass of flowing gases. We calibrate instruments to measure pressure, temperature and humidity. This laboratory checks the measurands of your measuring instruments to ensure their 100 % accuracy in daily operation.
From automotive to pharmaceutics: our reference standards ensure highest flexibility for measurement and test activities in any industry.
In addition, we cultivate research and development cooperation with universities, research institutes and the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB).
In close cooperation with the PTB, we develop and manufacture the German reference standards for flow metering technology. This is engineering work our customers will appreciate! The more traceable reference standards (to the primary standards of the PTB) a laboratory possesses, the more measurement ranges it can cover. In view of the many reference standards at EP, we can offer you the best possible flexibility when finding the solution for your measuring or test problem.
The automotive and automation industries above all hold us in high esteem. Many famous brands belong to our customers. For some years now, we have also committed ourselves to providing our competence and knowledge in measurement and test engineering to companies from other industries. The German Meteorological Service, for example, calibrate their transfer standards with calibration systems by EP.
We offer valuable know-how for the most diverse industries: for aviation and HVAC engineering as well as for chemical or pharmaceutical companies.
