EP Instruments

Our subsidiary completes our service portfolio

Established as subsidiary of EP Engineering in July 2006, EP Instruments perfectly complements the services offered by EP Engineering. The services include calibrations and engineering tasks as well as training and repair & maintenance work. For calibrating the measurands of volume and mass flow of gases, EP Instruments is the most accurate DKD calibration laboratory in Germany. Since 2006, it has been accredited by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) Braunschweig and Berlin (DKD-K-47201) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. These are the services we offer:

Calibration

We operate a calibration laboratory for temperature, humidity, pressure and flow measuring instruments. We calibrate laminar flow elements, supercritical nozzles, gas and mass flow meters. We have specialised in the high-precision measurement of gas flows. The accreditation for gas flow measurands certified in DKD-K-47201 allows us to trace measurement and test systems back to national standards (PTB).

Trainings

We aim at practical experience. Your experience. We gear our trainings to your questions, demands and application conditions. Please refer to our website for our current training programme. We will be happy to conduct individual trainings at your location or our premises.

Training program 2012

Engineering

We develop customised procedures and components for the flow measurement technology to your needs. We also assist you in the project planning of system solutions for hardware and software engineering (based on LabVIEW by NI), process engineering and design. We design control and regulating concepts for fluids, develop valves and carry out feasibility studies. You can also count on us when it comes to endurance and characteristics testing: we test components, compile characteristic lines, determine efficiency values and carry out temperature range analyses.
