A heat meter is a device which measures thermal energy provided by a source or delivered to a sink, by measuring the flow rate of the heat transfer fluid and the change in its temperature (\u0394T) between the outflow and return legs of the system. It is typically used in industrial plants for measuring boiler output and heat taken by process, and for district heating systems to measure the heat delivered to consumers. If heat meters are used for billing heating costs, they must be checked or calibrated. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

The test bench is used to determine the measurement deviation over a flow range from 5 l\/h to 20,000 l\/h in a temperature range from 7 \u00b0C to 85 \u00b0C to adjust the temperature measurement range of the heat meter. The system allows flexible and exact control of flow profiles and constant water temperatures.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
