History

  • 1977: The foundation stone was laid when the Ehrler & Beck company was founded in Stuttgart – Renningen
  • 1983: Establishment of Ehrler Prüftechnik – moving into the first company premises in Leinfelden-Echterdingen
  • 1990: Relocation of the company location to Steinbronn
  • 1999: Relocation to the rural Mulfingen-Zaisenhausen
  • 2005: EP receives the first ISO certification
  • 2006: Start of the calibration laboratory: Foundation of the subsidiary EP Instruments Messtechnik & Kalibrierung
  • 2007: First audit for the DAkkS certification according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the flow calibration of flowing gases successfully carried out
  • 2008: Start and move into the first company premises in Niederstetten, 50 kilometers south of Würzburg
  • 2016: Groundbreaking for the new building on more than 1200 square meters of additional usable space in Niederstetten: Relocation of the calibration laboratory to Niederstetten & expansion of the office and assembly areas
  • 2018: Subsidiary of Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG
  • 2019: EP Instruments Messtechnik & calibration GmbH merges with EP Ehrler Prüftechnik Engineering GmbH
  • 2020: Start of the calibration laboratory in Hangzhou, China
