Pulsation- & Bursttest

The test bench is used for pulsating and bursting of oil modules with hydraulic oil. The test specimens, e.g. injection nozzle systems of engines are tested for durability under pulsating conditions (pressure & temperature changes). Depending on the application, the test specimens are mounted for example in a climate chamber. The hydraulic pressure is generated by a screw spindle pump. The pulsation is initiated by switching a 2/2-way valve. The test pressure can be adjusted via a manually adjustable throttle valve and a set of ball valves in the bypass. The system is controlled by a Siemens S7 PLC with the appropriate software.
